The palazzi on the Grand Canal are taken for Carnival years ahead. This one opens its ballroom once a year.
Four nights over Carnival in a palazzo on the Grand Canal, and on the last night a masked ball of your own for a hundred and fifty guests, by candlelight, with a string orchestra and dancers in the ballroom. The costumes come from the atelier that dresses the great balls, and your mask is made by hand in Dorsoduro. Your guests arrive by gondola, as they always have, and leave when the fog comes in off the lagoon.
